Frigging LOVED Game of Thrones.
I get told off for being excited about the first thick carpet of snow of the season… but pulling on my snowboots, wrapping up in about 50 layers and racing outside to make footprints, in silly circles all over the pavement and road is just TOO MUCH FUN! Not to mention that utterly delightful noise that freshly fallen snow makes when you compress it with your steps, a sort of cross between a crunch and a sigh and a creak!

PS I don’t like the aftermath though – that melting into slush then freezing into an ice slick that makes the pavements a dangerous obstacle (mostly because Brits have become too selfish and too lazy to clear that tiny stretch of pavement outside their own house and are all too happy to blame it on the bollox excuse of being sued). And I don’t like the cold, either.

I’m jealous Kavey – don’t get much snow around here. Lived in the US for a year a long time ago and almost wet myself when the first snow started falling. I know the aftermath is a bit messy, but I’d happily put up with it.
