I like this one a lot, particularly the look on the little girl’s face. I think that I shall call the fellow with his face bitten off ‘Donald’.
Thanks for sharing it.

Would you believe I didn’t put a name after ‘Oh God’ because I couldn’t decide on a name for the guy? If I could be bothered doing it again I’d happily go with Donald ๐

In my opinion this cartoon is in concept and detail a contemporary work of genius, in spite of which however I feel that it more than meets the standard of your oeuvre.

So that’s where zombies come from!
Looks like my “American Idol” theory was way off…

No I think your theory is correct, G. Between that and Big Brother we run the risk of being overrun. I keep my shotgun handy whenever those shows are aired.
Hugo, Heather and Nimish – you can join my small group of survivors anytime. Well, at least until you get bitten. Then I’ll have to shoot you in the head of course.

My wife is Japanese. The other day she asked, “Where do they, zombies, come from?” Followed by, “Is it possible to kill a zombie.” We all know that a headshot or decapitation is the only way to rid yourself of nasty zombies. Alas, I was unable to supply her with an answer to, “Where do zombies come from?”
Until today.
God really does have a sick sense of humor.

Why because an old lady comes back from the dead and starts biting people is she all of a sudden a zombie!

Great one Mike, Although the biting off of the cheek is particually disturbing to me for some reason, moreso than if she were eating his brain. All of a sudden my cheeks feel very vunerable.
STAY AWAY FROM MY CHEEKS YOU GOD um… blessed? ZOMBIES !!

Tons of comments! Good to see you getting more of the recognition you deserve! If a newspaper printed comics like See Mike Draw, I would actually buy it. Instead of stealing it from my neighbor.

G, do you by any chance live in Baltimore, next to Phil McNair?
April 15, 2008 at 5:41 am
seemikedraw
G, I’d be just as flattered if you stole a newspaper for my comics rather than buy it. Moreso even.
EvilMonkeyNZ, lifestyles are changing, and given that today’s modern zombie seems to be in much more of a rush than the classic zombie of yesteryear, they prefer to take an easily accessible bite of flesh and move on, rather than waste time getting to the brain.

Zombies? No Lis, I think you’ll find that both of my ‘zombie cartoons’, as you see them, are actually ‘window cartoons’. Yes, both feature windows. I love windows. There, that’s not so scary is it?

The geriatric Zombies are an undying breed, but as Mike quite rightly points out, the modern contempo male Zombie is a fastidious boulevardier of the night who cuts a stylish figure among the Undead. And just as Zombie fashions have changed, so too have Zombie tastes done. But this is not to say that our rakish Zombie of Today is impractical; on the contrary. After all, dry cleaning bills are so real, and brains are so messy.

Good. Otherwise, Luigi here would have to break your legs, if you didn’t have anything up by sundown tomorrow (that’s IST sundown you smart mouth little aussie cartooner!)
Wouldn’t you, Luigi?

Dear Nimish (and your multiple personalities),
I’m afraid I can’t work by IST. I do, however, guarantee a cartoon by sundown MT (Mike Time), which is not particularly accurate. It should be in a few days, but there’s really no telling with MT.
