I’m sure there’ll be some sceptics out there who don’t agree with this theory…

It’s the only theory that makes sense so far.

Um… Good Theory, only one problem: Jesus appears to be alive in a tomb when the Doctor turns up. So he’s already resurected maybe? Far be from me to poke holes in a solid theory like this but, I also think it’s much more likely to be the Dr. Emmett L. Brown that took him time travelling, because in case you didn’t know… Doctor Who isn’t real!

EvilMonkey, I would’ve called it “The empty tomb: the mystery of the disappearance of Jesus following his alleged resurrection – a scientific explanation”, but that doesn’t seem to roll off the tongue too well.

I completely missed the fact that ol jeebus responds like a kid from ‘happy days’

Oh boy sure do mr, that sounds swell!

Yeah I figured he looked like a little kid sitting around waiting for something to do. Unfortunately his enthusiasm was short lived as he was exterminated by a dalek. But he was replaced by Leela, who was hotter.

just about as realistic as the ‘other’ explaination.

Yunno Mike, this could explain why the Magdalen didn’t recognize him coming out of the tomb. The author of Matthew’s Gospel has it that it was just that he was transmogrified onnacounta he “had not yet ascended to the Father”. But maybe “Father”, in that usage, could as easily be translated “Doctor”, in which case the Naz was caught by Mary in the process of teleportation while attempting to catch up with his tweedy compere for one of The Doctor’s picaresque interstellar tours. In for a penny, then, in for a Pound: “For I ha’ seen him eat o’ the honeycomb sin’ they nailed him to tha’ tree!”

i reckon that Jesus is a timelord,
the romans killed him and he regenerated.
and that historical figures through time are him!

“jesus, would you like a jelly baby!”

.love the cartoon.

sceptics should be changed to skeptics. Thanks for the laughs.

fart, methinks you must be a Yank. The last time we got into a war with those people who spell skeptic with two “c’s”, they burned down the White House and nearly stole our dear First Lady. Now, do you want to go through that sort of thing again, or would you rather leave them to their own cherished idiosyncracies? Because I say, CHANGE OR DIE!
